Neil Rees-Davies
Having spent my career working with the most challenging/ hard to reach students I believe that I have the breadth of knowledge, skills and experience to share with professionals to improve engagement and inclusion in the education system for these vulnerable students.
My experience has focussed on the ‘behaviour’ sector in its widest sense from secure units at one extreme to the mainstream at the other and all points in between. For the last 27 years I have worked mostly as a Headteacher but also as a leadership consultant.Throughout my time in education, I have been open-minded, creative, challenging and a lifelong learner trying to find the best solutions to complex issues. I am not an academic, but a pragmatist who improves their knowledge, skillset, and attitudes to analyse the effectiveness of strategy, interventions and culture needed to create a truly inclusive education for all; especially those that are disengaged, disenfranchised and unsuccessful within the learning environment.
